Volunteer

At PF Warriors, the most meaningful support comes from people who truly understand.

Your lived experience as a patient, caregiver, or loved one brings empathy, perspective, and connection that cannot be taught. Volunteers help ensure no one faces pulmonary fibrosis (PF) or interstitial lung disease (ILD) feeling unseen or alone.

When you share your time and skills, you help strengthen programs, expand support, and shape how PF Warriors shows up for the community.

How Volunteers Make an Impact

When you volunteer, you turn community care into real-world support.
Because of our volunteers, PF Warriors is able to:

  • Offer peer-to-peer support to patients and caregivers
  • Share trusted education and resources
  • Strengthen our online and in-person community
  • Grow bilingual and special-focus programs, including Spanish-language support
  • Support advocacy, awareness, and outreach efforts

Every role matters. Every contribution counts. Volunteers are essential to making our mission sustainable and community-driven.

What Volunteering Looks Like

At PF Warriors, we offer a variety of volunteer opportunities to match different interests, skills, and energy levels.

  • Flexible and understanding of health and life changes
  • Supportive and community-centered
  • Purpose-driven, not pressure-driven

We recognize that living with or caring for someone with PF can be unpredictable. Your well-being always comes first and we will work with you to find a role that feels right.
